Dog Grooming Packages

Choose one of our dog grooming packages for a great deal and a full-service treat for your pet! Package prices do not include breed-specific grooming standards. Breeds with lots of hair may be considered a size larger. Please let us know if you have specific grooming in mind so we can work with you on price and end result. Excessive mats may lead to extra fees. ​Please note that prices have increased in 2022 due to increased supply and shipping costs.

Yappy Yip	Dog: Medium Breed	Bath, nail trim, basic groom (cleanup and trim), and blow-out. For additional styling, add styling fee.
Hearty Howl	Dog: Large Breed	Bath, nail trim, basic groom (cleanup and trim), and blow-out. For additional styling, add styling fee.
​Big Bark	Dog: Giant Breed	Bath, nail trim, basic groom (cleanup and trim), and blow-out. For additional styling, add styling fee.
De-Shedding	All Dogs	​Bath, nail trim, blow-out, comb-out, use of special de-shedding shampoos and conditioners. An add-on to a bath.
Annual Clean-Up	All Dogs	Bath, nail trim, clipping, trimming, blow-out. There may be an increased fee for extra time to deal with de-matting. Dogs should be treated for ticks at least three days before bringing them in.
Non-Groom Clean-Up​	All Dogs	Bath, de-shed, nail trim, anal gland expression, teeth cleaning.
Skin Restoration	All Dogs	We offer skin restoration using specially developed products for animals with common skin issues. Contact us for information, as we work on a case-by-case basis.
Doodle Grooming	All Doodles	For regularly scheduled appointments, every six weeks or so**. Bath, nail trim, clipping and trimming, blow-out for doodles (goldendoodle, labradoodle, bernedoodle, etc.). Due to the size of the dog and the nature of the coat, grooming takes much longer. Additional fees may be added if de-matting is necessary.
Styling Fee	All Dogs	Add to appropriate grooming package if you'd like a particular style (e.g. fluffy legs, fluffy head, etc.) beyond a basic groom.
Clean Feet & Face	All Dogs	May add on to grooming package for tightly clipped feet/face, generally in a poodle style.

*This is the base price, which may vary depending on the size/weight of your dog, and the type or condition of the coat. For matted coats, dematting fees may be added.

​** For doodles that will only be groomed twice a year, grooming starts at $150 for each appointment.

Spa Experience

Baths & De-shedding

If your dog simply needs a bath, we can do that! All baths come with a blow-out.

We use products that help build healthy skin and coat. You can add other services to the bath if you'd like. Combined with a bath, the de-shed helps remove excess hair. Add a sanitrim (sanitary trim of rear and/or tummy) if necessary.

If you would like your dog groomed according to breed standards, choose from this selection. Please note pricing may be higher for breed specific requests:

​We offer cat baths, grooms, and shave downs. Prices may vary depending on the difficulty of the coat condition and temperament. If your cat becomes extremely stressed before we're able to finish, we will stop for the health of the cat.

We only book cat appointments in the later afternoon. In the morning the shop is full of barking dogs, and we want to have as few dogs present as possible for your cat's grooming appointment.

You have several options for your dog when you request a groom. Varying or extra fees may apply to different options depending on the option and the condition of the coat.​

Common Dog Grooming Cuts

Face, feet and fanny trim: Grooming done in between full haircuts to clean up around the eyes, feet and fanny.

Sanitary trim (or “sanitrim”): We shave the belly and around a dog’s fanny for sanitary purposes.

Summer or kennel cut: The dog is clipped short evenly across the whole body. Please note that for double coated dogs we will only clip to a certain length.  Clipping into the undercoat can affect the animal's ability to heat or cool so we do not recommend this.​

Breed Standard Cuts

Nearly every breed has a standard cut. You may request that. If you have photos of what you would like, do bring those in. Some of these cuts include Poodle, Schnauzer, Papillon, and Cocker.

Poodle Cuts
There are many ways to groom a poodle. We've listed a few below. Many of these can be used with other dogs that have longer coats (e.g. Yorkies, Bichons, Maltese and Shih Tzus). 

Puppy / Teddy Bear cut: Less hair is clipped off, and with various techniques, the end look is an even fluffy look. 

Lamb cut: The body is clipped to the length you prefer, and then the legs are left with longer hair and blended to match the shorter body clip.

Poodle Kennel cut: The length of the coat is set over the whole body with a clean face and clean feet as well as a topknot.

Feet Trims

Dog breeds have different types of feet based on what the working breed is intended for. This includes cat feet (round feet), hare feet (for fast dogs), and webbed feet (for dogs, like retrievers, that go in water). There are several ways we can trim the hair on your dog's feet.

Clean feet: The feet are completely shaved, exposing the nails and the entire foot up to the ankle.

Cat feet: This is when the hair between the toes is scissored short to the same length as the hair on top of the feet. The nails can be visible.

Round feet: The feet are scissored to look round and fluffy without showing the nails.

Retriever feet: We have a standard way of trimming the foot, taking the webbed foot into account.

Grooming Terms

Clean face: Shaving the face, muzzle and cheeks with a shorter blade.

Dematting: We'll remove matted fur. Varying dematting fees may apply at the discretion of the groomer, depending on the condition of the coat. We won't demat a dog if it is 30 percent or more matted...Humanity before Vanity :)

Pants: The long hair on a dog's back legs.

Pom-pom: Usually done on poodles or other dogs with fluffy coats, pom-poms look like balls of fur placed above clean feet and on the end of the tail.

Skirt: The long hair that falls on either side of a dog's body between the front and back legs to create a skirt look.

Topknot: A ponytail or pigtails on top of the head, held in place with a barrette, bow or binder. It can also be the extra hair on a poodle's head.
